Designed by Noland Van Powell and Ben Watson White, this 1932 Greyhound Bus Station at 109 North 5th Street is one of the few sole surviving Art Deco Greyhound bus stations in the United States. Entered onto the National Register of Historic Places in 1987, the station was closed around 2001 and fell into disrepair from disuse. Purchased by community effort in 2004, the station was restored and opened in December 2010.

The station is now home to the offices of Main Street Blytheville and a transportation museum, to be completed in three phases during 2011 and 2012. The museum will feature exhibits on the history of Greyhound bus routes in Mississippi County, the movement of artists, musicians, and other famous historical personalities through Blytheville, and the part that Blytheville and the Air Force Base played during several national war efforts, particularly WWII.
