The following information comes from the Gainesville Solar Walk Benches Project Fact Sheet. Two benches were placed on the Solar Walk NW 8th Ave. (between 34th St. and NW 22nd St.). The benches provide a functional art element for pedestrians to rest during the one-mile Solar Walk. Each bench cost $1800 to produce.
