The marker is on the building near Waterfall Garden Park in Seattle, Washington.
It reads:

"Site of the Smaller Fort to Protect
the Whites in the Indian War of 1855. A
Stockade stretched from here to the Main
Blockhouse at the Foot of Cherry Street.
This tablet was erected by the Washington University State
Historical Society. November 13, 1905."
