At 61 Western Avenue in Westfield is a fine example of Folk Victorian buildings that abound in the older neighborhoods of western Massachusetts. This one is painted in shades of pink which really makes it stand out from the others in the area. It has the features of the Queen Anne style: a bay windows, round tower, large wrap around porches, balcony, scalloped shingles, roof finial, but not overdone to excess.
