The village sign is of metal construction and resides on the village green adjacent to the war memorial.

At the top of the sign is a representation of the village hall. Below the village hall and the word HUNSDON is a WW2 aircraft representing the nearby wartime airfield, and a tudor rose symbolising the links to Henry VIII, who had a hunting lodge nearby and was a regular visitor.
