Absolutely massive Victorian is one of the largest on this street and could definitely double as a motel. The house is professionally landscaped with an accent on hardscaping.

Bases on the sign out front and driveway off to the side filled with cars, I think this structure now serves commercial purposes. Who would need such a huge house anyway...a family of 12? Standard to this Victorian is the Mansard style roof, 11 windows in the front face, third and second floor 2X 2 windows, the bottom floor 6 over 9, very strange for a window. The windows have decorative trim. In the top middle is a very steep gable. Proportionally, this house is quite symmetrical more so than the other Victorians and definitely an exception for what is to be found here.

For a more detailed and informed physical description of this site, I have added information from the original nomination form sent to me by John P. Byrne, National Register Database Manager (John_Byrne@nps.gov), Department of the Interior. This narrative was created March 16, 1979, mailed in to Washington, D.C. and evaluated April 18, 1980 and finally approved on July 21, 1982. Thanks to this designation and the efforts of the community to stop developers in the early 70s, Haddonfield is permanently protected and is one of the best example of an intact Colonial America.

2 1/2 story dwelling, similar to #31 but front porch removed. Divided 6 over 9 lights have been put in first floor windows; second floor still original Victorian 2 over 2. Mansard roof on the third floor with gable. Covered with aluminum siding. Still has some Victorian detail however, and is in good condition. --- National Register of Historic Places Inventory -- Haddonfield Historic District Nomination Form
