This benchmark is property of the United States Department of the Interior, National Park Service and delineates one of the boundaries of the historic district. It is on the property of the Quality Inn, a hundred feet or so away form the Civil War site, General Lee's headquarters during the Battle of Gettysburg. To get to it, approach the Lincoln Highway vintage gasoline pump replica and interpretive. Look in back of it a few feet and there it is; it is hard to miss given its diminutive stature.
