This old wartime bunker is tucked away in the hedgerow alongside the busy A352 road.

The tiny village of East Stoke is in the Purbecks; its church is now a private residence. This bunker is well preserved and visible from the minor road near the level crossing. There is another small hut on this road now storing a modern water pump perhaps this links underground to the bunker?
There is a large concrete area on the site suggesting other buildings were also here.
