The Dresden Plate, a fan type of quilt block, was reportedly very popular during the 1920s and 30s. The pattern is also known as Grandmother's Sunburst, Friendship Ring, Aster, Dahlia and Sunflower. reference

The pattern is on the north side of a small dark red barn thus seen when driving southbound on Hwy TN75. Did not quickly observe any pull offs.
