We found this old blacksmith shop while traveling through Eden, Utah. It is located directly west of the town park. According to the sign over the large door, it opened in 1893. We would have loved to look inside to see if anything was left but it was all locked up and no one was around.
Our research indicates that the area is under consideration for redevelopment using the old blacksmith shop as the centerpiece.
For now, it stands here as a silent reminder of a bygone era.
