This vintage Civil War era cannon was a gift to the Wadena Farragut Post in 1897. It is a memorial to fallen comrades. The memorial plaque reads:

In Memory of their departed comrades, this 32 pounder Sea Coast cannon was donated to the Wadena Farragut Post #102 - Grand Army of the Republic - on June 11, 1897. It was made in 1832 at Georgetown D.C. weighing 7630 pounds. It is the 193rd gun of 312 manufactured.

The cannon is located in the Wadena Cemetery next to another Veteran's Memorial. 6/
