This sign is located at the edge of the village on the Lamberhurst side. Bo Peep Corner is what this area of Pembury is known as, and there used to be a village store named after this. It is believed it is called Bo Peep Corner, as this is where she lived, but there is no proof of this.
The other village signs at other locations are known as lower and upper green, Woodgate.
