This covered bridge was built 1947. It crosses the river Birs between Münchenstein in the East and Muttenz in the West. It is 45 meters long and has the coats of arms of Muttenz and Münchenstein in the gables. The bridge is usually used by pedestrians and bikers, but it is open to motorized traffic up to a weight of five tons.
