This small canopy gas station was formerly a Standard Oil service station. The brick building has been painted white with blue trim. The station dates back to the 1920’s. The auto repair building was added later and is now being used as Swift's Small Engine and Locksmith Service. The original station has been recently repainted but remains vacant at the present time. It is located on the NW corner of 5th Street and Lincoln Way across from the library. Note the historic Lincoln Highway “L” emblem painted on the east side of the building.
