These stones are situated on Forge Lane, Elsecar. At the start of this short lane is The Market public house, which I believe in earlier times was a coaching inn. Also on this lane is the entrance to the Elsecar Heritage Centre. The lane leads to footpaths into Kings Wood. Land on the other side of the lane is a free car park.
