At the location you will find the only remaining barracks of Fliegerhorst Velno. All other barracks were destroyed by the germans when retrieving. These barracks were saved since they were used as housing of the people digging trenches. The soldiers who destroyed all buidings had left before all trenches were finished.

The buildings are renovated and are used as camp location for children. Inside the buildings you will find the original wooden floor. Also the windows have steel blinds for shelter.
