Leeds city centre has a vibrant shopping area with a wide selection of shops. It was the first city outside London to have a Harvey Nichols store.
There is a mix of both modern indoor shopping malls, and some really fine examples of Victorian covered shopping areas.
Nearby to here. As well as the shops there is St’ John’s church, the City Varieties Theatre and the Leeds Grand Theatre and Opera House.
Also just off this close up picture, but still on the map is a large Art Gallery and the Town Hall.
