Confederate Soldiers 1861 - 1865
During the Civil War. The Central House Hotel that was locate near the railroad was converted to a hospital. When more than 200 soldiers there died from wounds or disease, they were buried here. Many of the men are unidentified. Civil War veterans buried in family plots include Brigadier General Evander McNair.
