Weber Avenue Roundhouse - Sioux Falls, SD - Railway Roundhouses on Waymarking.com

This is an old roundhouse - actually a locomotve service and repair facility that sits along Weber Avenue. Over the years all of the rail lines that accessed the building and property were removed. The property was then purchased by the Graham familiy who ran a foreign car salvage company. A decade ago the City of Sioux Falls instituted an Greenway Beautification project and the salvage yard was shut down.

The property is currently used as a car sales lot and some outside storage.

From the sidestreet you can still see the large wooden doors that were used to let get the locomotives inside.
