Plaque on the side of the Age Concern Shop, it commemorates the demolition of a tudor building which exposed a ditch which formed part of Aylesbury's town defences.

Inscription reads

Erected by the Aylesbury Society

In 1973 demolition of a tudor building on this site exposed an infilled ditch 9 feet deep which once formed part of the towns defences.
