At the CRI&P railroad depot at 518 S. Main in Hobart, you will find the Union Pacific caboose 25404.
This is a standard cupola styled caboose, painted yellow with orange trim. The railroad depot has been renovated and houses the Kiowa County Historical Museum. The museum contains numerous artifacts from the early days of Kiowa County. The museum is open Tues-Sat from 10AM-4PM and on Sunday from 2-4PM.
