Ruebarb Alpacas started when Barb a full time school bus driver took a class trip to a alpaca farm and thought this was something for her and her husband LaRue. With both of them working full time they found it still possible to start the business and have recently purchased 80 acres of adjoining property to expand in the future. As well as the farm they also have a farm store to sell their product. They also participate on Visit The Farm Days each year through the Allegany County Agritourism and invite all to visit and discuss their farm .
