The hall is located on the corner of High and University in the downtown area of Palo Alto. In 1921, the Elks lodge was formed with 100 member. They moved in to the hall. Nowadays the lodge is a mix of business, including a sushi bar.

The building is decorated with bas relief around the High St door and above the windows.
