This is the main station for 4 mile. This is a volunteer department located in rural Teller County, Colorado. This station also has a wide area for Flight for Life helicopter to land. Not sure on how many calls the department does per year. The tation has two bays for trucks and an ambulance. some of the trucks are parked outside.
The station is powered by solar. I believe that this station was built from straw bales and than stucco'd.
