The Woodbury Friends' Meeting house was built in beginning in 1715 with the west side. The building was constructed on a site which cost 3 pounds. The east portion of the building was added in 1785.

Following the Battle of Red Bank in Revolutionary War in 1777 the Meetinghouse was used as a hospital for Hessian soldiers. - information from City of Woodbury website
