The sign is divided into three sections which depict an oak tree, a yoke and the village church with a Lancaster Bomber passing overhead. The church is St Peter & St Paul and the wartime aeroplane is a representation from the nearby American Airbase which occupied RAF Polebrook nearby during WWII.
