This small memorial is literally in the center of the Lincoln Highway. There is a rotary or circle in the dead center of this town. Within the center of this circle is a fountain surrounded by a circle of concrete; a kind of walkway. On the western side of the fountain, in the outer edge of the circle, where the grass starts this memorial and a few others have been 'planted' in the ground. In front of the memorial, on the concrete are little marble markers, 11 in all, with various silver emblems on top of them of various branches of the military.
The inscription of the stone reads:

The waymark and circle is located on a beautiful patch of the Lincoln Highway. You have to see it to believe it; it's like stepping back in time. What a wonderfully preserved piece of Americana along this famous highway.
