The Glen Carbon Veteran Memorial was rededicated November 11 2007, the original was dedicated in 1944.

Located in Honor Roll Park the intersection of South Meridian Road and Main Street in Glen Carbon. All branches of the military are represented. In the center is the bronze boots and rifle, the synbol of a fallen soldier. There are pavers dedicated to specific veterans. It is just across the street from wood covered bridge.

The Glen Carbon Veterans Monument Committee is a group of veterans and citizens of the Glen Carbon area working together to restore and provide innovative improvements to Honor Roll Park. The last significant improvements to the monument were completed after storm damage in 1948. Throughout the years, exposure to the elements has caused considerable deterioration to the monument. The Committee decided to incorporate the existing structure into the new Glen Carbon Veterans Monument to continue honoring of all the military service personnel the citizens of Glen Carbon set out to do so many years ago.
