Here is yet another beautiful Lincoln Highway site in a small but authentically fifties town. The church is situated on the town's circle or rotary which is the town center or square. There are a couple of these circles to be found in these small towns on the way to Gettysburg. The church, according to the date stone, was erected in 1886. The stone is shaped like a diamond, is white and bears the name and date of the church. The date stone can be found just beneath the front gable and above a keystone over an upper window.
There is also a bell/clock tower which towers over the town off to the left. The entire thing is made of brick. I think this clock tower is the nicest detail of this church. It is simply beautiful. Of course such a beautiful and old church neglected to make a website to tell of their history. Happens every time!
