A wooden memorial to both World Wars can be seen inside the church of Church Knowle.

There is a blue curtain beside the memorial which screens the entrance door. The inscription reads:

'1914 - 1919
To the honoured
memory of the men of
this Parish who fell
in the Great War.

Albert Recd. Richards
Frederick CEO. Welsh
Leonard CEO. Woolfries

Grant them O Lord eternal peace.'

The second memorial reads:
'1939-1945
