The building located at 218 W. Main Street in downtown Stroud, is a one-story masonry building placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000 (#00001576).

The original building was constructed in 1922, and was 25 ft. across the front and 102 ft. deep. An addition in 1924 added an additional 38 ft. to the depth. The building has a flat roof. The front is constructed of symetrical limestone blocks, with the remaining walls rough sandstone blocks. The floor is concrete, and the front has large display windows. The building has been occupied by various tenants over the years, and currently houses the Stroud Conference Center. This is a business which provides meetings rooms for seminars and conferences, as well as space for weddings and receptions. It advertises that it is located halfway between Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
