The plaque reads: "This tablet and flagpole is dedicated in memory of Robert Trusten McColley. Company C, 364 infantry. 91rst division. Dec. 6, 1892 - Sept 29, 1918. The only boy front Huntington Park to make the supreme sacrifice on the field of action. "Batttle of the Argonne."

On the plaque are two crossed American flags with a wreath sitting on top of them. The "Batttle of the Argonne" was part of WWI, taking place in 1918.
