The Plaza is right on the boardwalk and juts out over the sand further than the rest of the Boardwalk. The Plaza serves not only as a rest area for the tourist walking the length of the Boardwalk...but it is also an amphitheatre offering various forms of entertainment. According to this website (visit link) the Plaza "plays host to fascinating multi-cultural events ranging from Calypso beats to Korean sword dances, African fire eaters, stilt walkers, acrobats and much more. The Kennedy Plaza brings the world right to the shores of Atlantic City. There is also a Memorial to JFK on the Plaza, a Workers Memorial and a miniature golf course (all separte Waymarks.)
