The Amphitheater at Red Butte Garden hosts the Outdoor Concert Series. There is not a bad seat in the theater. Views of City light to the west and mountains to the east all the while surrounded by the gorgeous garden. Brin your own food and drinks!

The 2010 concert series was awesome: Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow, Doobie Brothers, Norah Jones, Lyle Lovett. The best part of the show is just laying down your blanket eating a picnic and drinking your drink. You can bring your own color full of beer, bottles of wine, or whatever you prefer. Very few concert venues that I know about allow for this. During twilight you get beautiful views of Red Butte and the surrounding Wasatch Mountains to the East. Look to the West after the sun goes down and appreciate the lights of Salt Lake City.

They have started doing dinner and movie nights in the amphitheater in partnership with Sundance. This 2010 they showed Once and Motorcycle Diaries.
