This mural was painted in 1996 and for much of the time has been fenced away from view. Recent renovations to downtown Watsonville made a small open plaza next to this mural which is on the side of a Main Street restaurant.

The mural is roughly divided into four sections, one of which is an image of an open "book" page which tells a story of Watsonville agriculture bilingually,

"Watsonville, where strawberries are sweeter, apples crisper and produce plentiful, is a friendly place of diverse people who share a strong sense of community and optimism. ...
