VDOT 029-1624, VA, is a Commonwealth of Virginia – Department of Transportation (VDOT) survey disk located along the west side of Beulah Street (County Road 613), about 0.2 miles north of the intersection of Beulah Street and Telegraph Road (County Road 611), in Fairfax County, VA. The 3.5-inch aluminum disk is located about 350 feet north-northwest of the centerline of Landistowne Centre Drive (the entrance to a shopping center with a CVS, Sunoco and the Kingstowne Library) leading west, about 335 feet south-southeast of the centerline of View Lane leading west, about 90 feet south-south-southeast of wood utility pole numbered CO811 AK22, about 72 feet north-northwest of wood utility pole numbered CO811 AJ62, 21.5 feet southeast of wood utility pole M96, 14.75 feet south-southeast of the south edge of a two-foot by four-foot concrete utility cover that is flush with the ground, 10.5 feet west-southwest of the west curb of Beulah Street, 3.5 feet west-southwest of the west edge of the sidewalk, in the top of a round concrete monument that is flush with the ground, about three inches higher than the sidewalk and about nine inches higher than the roadway. The monumentation date is unknown, and the disk is in neither the Geocaching nor National Geodetic Survey databases. It is stamped SURVEY MARKER 029-1624. To reach from Interstate Highway 95 south of the I-495 Beltway around Washington, DC, take Exit 169 to Franconia Road (County Road 644) eastbound. Go east on Franconia Road for about 2.1 miles to the intersection with Beulah Street. Turn right and go southwest on Beulah Street for about 3.1 miles to the station on the right in the grass west of the sidewalk. This station is about 0.37 miles south of survey disk VDOT 029-1625. Recovery of this station was first logged on the Geocaching datasheet for survey disk TRAIL, PID = HV9697.
