The equestrian sculpture has been made for the 200th anniversary of the death of II. Rákóczi Ferenc by Janos Pasztor (a sculptor) and George Dennis (architect), in 1937th on May 2. The sculpture is a 4.7-meter tall, swedish granite pedestal, bronze equestrian statue. Standing at the Kossuth Square, next ot the Hungarian Parlament at the south end, facing to north. The side of the shelf, "Cum Deo pro Patria et Libertate" (Latin text, translate is: "With God, for homeland and freedom") a slogan readable.
