Eind jaren vijftig maakt de kunstenaar Ed van Teeseling het bronzen beeld van een meisje dat een schooltas vasthoudt op haar rug. De kleuter kijkt een beetje dromerig de verte in. Ze draagt een kort jurkje en heeft haar haren in een staartje.
