In Attleboro, in the Attleboro Area Industrial Museum, there is on display an old fire wagon nicknamed "The Fire Queen."

The apparatus is a 24-man water pumping wagon and was purchased by the Attleborough Volunteer Fire Department. It was made by the William Jeffers Company in nearby Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

It was recently acquired from the Attleborough Fire Relief Fund and is now in the center of the museum. The apparatus is in good condition. The brass fittings are in place and the paint is in good condition. Of particular note is the odd-shaped "yolk" which is a set of loops for people to grab hold off as they pull the equipment along. By the equipment is a letter from the Attleboro Fire Department and an action picture of the equipment in use.

The museum is open on Thursdays and Fridays, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
