Finding overnight parkig for RVs is hard in California. Many city ordinance don't allow overnight park (even on private land like Walmart) Rest stops in California do though.
This rest area is just outside of Maxwell, CA in Colusa County. There are spaces for RV (just follow the sign for trucks and RVs. There's also a sanitation station to empty the tanks.
Note: This is the southbound location (in the Los Angeles direction) There's another rest arrow across the highway for northbound travelers.
