Not much information found in searches both locally and online. I did find the parish was formed in 1897. The parish is home to about 1800 families, and 7300 catholic souls.
From the School's website, the founding pastor started a school in 1899, and first school house was completed in 1901. The High school is now known as Notre Dame High School, founded in 1967, and is a joining of 3 other Catholic High Schools in Acadia civil Parish. Here

Grades K-3 are located in one building, 4-8 in another. School site.
