DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1953 AT MADISON. THE ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION IS ADEQUATE. AT MADISON, MORGAN COUNTY, AT THE POST OFFICE, AT THE NORTHWEST STEPS LEADING TO THE MAIN ENTRANCE, IN THE TOP OF THE NORTHEAST END OF THE SECOND STEP, 6.3 FEET NORTHWEST OF THE FACE OF THE BUILDING, AND 5.3 FEET NORTHEAST OF THE CENTER OF THE ENTRANCE.
