In Cambridge, in the Lafayette Square area where Massachusetts and Main Street meet (now via a short street), there is a large brick structure next to the fire station that has the name "The Salvation Army" both on the building and on a sign in front of it.
The web site lists many services from this building that include various adult program services, correctional services, disaster services, emergency assistance services, family counseling services, health services, housing/residence services, worship services and youth services. At 410 Mass. Ave. is the entrance to the Citadel Corps, with what appears to be a chapel. There is posted by another entrance regular hours for Sunday School and Worship Service. A sign at this entrance states that the Thrift Store drop-offs are at another location - 328 Mass. Ave.
