First Electric Lightning Plant

Site of the first incandescent Electric Lightning Plant in Amherstburg. It was owned by W. H. McEvoy, former Mayor. The by-law authorizing the plant was passed on April 23, 1894. It was signed by John G. Mullen, Mayor and J.H.C. Legatt, Town Clerk.
