This station is a geological survey marker from the U.S. Department of the Interior (USDOI) located in Afton, Virginia at Rockfish Gap and near the site where the Skyline Drive crosses over the Interstate 64. The station is east of Skyline Drive and south of Interstate 64 at the north side of a small parking lot.

The disk is sitting in the top of a round concrete monument leveled with the ground in a grassy area. Three feet to the north of the station is an orange witness post standing in front of an old fence and a wooden fence post. The station was found in a good condition. It has a little triangle with a cross in the middle and its stamping is TT 29 T RESET 2000. It also shows the words ELEV. FT. ABOVE and SEA. The station is not listed in the NGS database.
