The Woodlawn Lake Park softball field is as stripped-down and as basic as they come. It has backstop behind home plate and some fence along the sides and it had clay/sand in the center field. One basic wood bench for each team on each side. That's pretty much it. No bases, no lines. No grass in field. No pitchers mound. No boundary in the outfield, it just keeps going until you get to the lake.
Reservations are to be made through the San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department. It can be reserved Monday - Sunday from 8am - 8pm.
