According to Pennsylvania Railroad Stations Past and Present 'This is a very plain wooden station, two stories high, probably built about 1850 when the line was put in. The PRR bought up this line and the other lines near it after the Civil War. Presently the track is back in use by the West Chester RR, a scenic railroad.' A Wikipedia description is available http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westtown_%28SEPTA_station%29 and states that the building was constructed in 1859.
