Located around the corner from Pawtucket's historic City Hall and adjacent to a Veteran's Memorial, this old marker is nearly hidden by the trees that have grown around it.

The marker reads:

"RIVER AND FIELDS AT
PAWTUCKET

ONE OF THE BOUNDS OF PROVIDENCE
MENTIONED IN THE INDIAN DEED
TO ROGER WILLIAMS"
