This memorial is dedicated to all ranks of the Malayan, Singapore and Bornean Police Forces which subsequently became the Royal Malaysian Police. It especially remembers those who gave their lives in the Second World War and later campaigns 1948-1989.
They fought alongside Commonwealth military forces. This Police Force would have been very important in the Far East campaign during the Second World War.
The Police Force was involved in the Malayan Emergency suffering 1300 fatalities here.
