This firehouse is located along the BNSF Railroad about 3 miles south of the Ore. Hwy. 31 crossing of the railroad. The firehouse is the only station for the Oregon Outback R.F.P.D. which covers about 35 square miles and was formed in 2004. The district provides protection for the Antelope Meadows, Beal Road, Forest Meadows, Ingle Estates, Old Howard Estates, Split Rail, and Sun Forest Estates subdivisions.
